Education

We are working on...state-of-the art research and development of clean energy alternatives. And with our combined scientific, automotive and world-travel backgrounds, we at FES are committed to finding solutions.

Educate: we in ‘FES believe the first step is education and awareness.
1) • Recent increases in the price of oil are pushing energy to the top of the political agenda
And as concerned global citizens, we want to see fossil fuels banned and gone by the year 2012.
Our determination is fueled by these further facts on fossil fuels:
 2) • Fossil Fuels are currently responsible for 80% of the World’s Energy – they power our homes, industry, ships, planes, trains and automobiles
 3) • The potential for environmental damage in the fossil fuel industry exists at every stage. Harvesting oil and gas results in the destruction of surface land. The transportation of raw and refined material is constantly subject to peril. Burning fossil fuels creates complex environmental problems.
4) • Burning Fossil Fuels releases Carbon Dioxide (CO2) into the earth’s atmosphere
5) • Today oil production rates have risen to 85 million barrels a day – from 1 million barrels in 1900

You can read more facts about fossil fuels and their legacy of earth destruction at….

Part of our education mandate is in persuading industry & government officials to ban fossil fuels and to invest in renewable forms of energy alternatives that make sense, that are easily accessible, recyclable and do not harm the earth.
We believe that one person can make a difference but that many people can help educate the world.
And remember – pursue and absorb information -- read, watch TV, go online, You can become a ‘teacher’ as well as a ‘student’!

Spread the word to your nearest-and-dearest as well as biz colleagues and even strangers, about “F.E.S”

THE WATER-POWER PIONEERS

The renowned Nautilus in author Jules Verne’s Twenty-Thousand Leagues Under the Sea ran on hydrogen fuel (what could Verne do for us today, with the technology we have…?)

However, we can be inspired by the efforts of two men in particular -- Francisco Pacheco of Bolivia and Daniel Dingel of the Philippines.

Francisco Pacheco believed the major environmental and health problems caused by use of fossil and nuclear fuels could be solved. He began extracting the hydrogen from salt water to experiment with producing fuel to boil water – and then to run a motorcycle.

In 1974, a 26-foot power boat ran for nine hours, using the Pacheco generator and seawater for fuel. The only ‘waste’ returned to the ocean was its own waste – clean water!
In 1969, Daniel Dingel, who, developed a car that used plain tap water and/or sea water for fuel. Engineer Dingel uses technology to split the water molecule into hydrogen and oxygen. The hydrogen is burned off as fuel – and the exhaust emission is pure water. Not only does it not pollute, but it actually cleans the air! Dingel has several water-powered cars, which can be viewed at – Like Francisco Pacheco, Daniel Dingel found both enthusiasm and scepticism – even ridicule. Government officials and scientists refused to support him.
Thanks to the power of the internet, and growing numbers of supporters (including us), Pacheco’s and Dingel’s efforts are being hailed as having great potential for this planet of humankind.

As well, there’s Dr. Yul Brown.

Dr. Brown used the process of electrolysis (a chemical change produced in an electrolyte by an electric current) to separate water into its components -- two hydrogen molecules and one oxygen molecule. This mixture, HHO or Brown's gas), can be burned to create energy you can power your car with – but more to supplement the gas you use to power your car.
